This Web-site is dedicated to the sport of fencing not just the promotion of the group clubs. It has sections dedicated to fencing topics and fencers. Beginners and those of you are thinking of learning to fence will I am sure wish to browse through the various sections. Some pages will have more than one topic. This website is fast becoming the post box for people wanting to learn to fence from all parts of the UK. We can only refer people to clubs or instructors we know. The Group offers Fencing up to five nights a week. Teaching and coaching sessions every week. Group and Individual tuition. Free loan of all equipment needed to fence for beginners or fencers returning to the sport. Start anytime and work at your own pace. Joint club memberships within the group. Family membership at reduced rates. Weekend Training and instructor/coaching sessions and courses. Instructor education and evaluation courses. Where and When to find the Group Clubs |
|
Salle JEUDI has four membership schemes Full member This entitles you to fence at the club on Tuesday evenings from 1930 to 2130 hrs and includes group and individual Lessons. The 6 week term Fee is £30.00* Family Member This membership will enable up to 5 members of a family to fence at the club. One member paying full fees and then each family member at a reduced scales. Group Member This entitles you to fence at any of the group clubs as a guest at reduced fee of £3.25 per session. Visitors This entitles non group visitors to fence at any of the group clubs as a guest for 3 sessions at reduced fee of £3.50 per session. Evening Classes The Salle JEUDI Group have a planned course of 10/6 weekly lessons that will in no time have you challenging the more advanced fencers. Within a few weeks you will find both your fitness and fencing technique improve in leaps and bounds. *Includes membership Professional tuition. Loan of fencing equipment |

For the past year Dave has been taking Saturday morning classes for the Bedford Children's University. The Frontiers Club as it is known is a five week series of morning classes, with a wide variety of subjects. There are some 20 classes to choose from, ranging from Latin to Robotics Dance to Creative writing I suppose Dave's classes lands some in the middle. |

Dave has also been doing school holiday classes for Bedfordshire and Luton Education Business Partnership. The two day classes being run this Easter sound very interesting. "Learn to Fence." This is for beginners and people who would like to improve their standard of fencing skills. "An introduction to stage fencing." This is for people who would like to learn the craft of stage fight fencing. For those with an eye on acting as a career it would be a good two days. And their only £5.00 for each of the courses.
